About You
Extensive experience leading or delivering commercially driven Machine Learning projects from inception through to deployment and maintenance.
Extensive experience (5+ years) with Python and/or SQL.
Mentor junior data scientists, providing guidance and support in their professional development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and objectives, translating complex data into actionable insights
Supporting machine learning model deployment into production and monitoring of the data science solutions lifecycle.
Enhancing existing machine learning products and driving innovation through thought leadership, by staying abreast with market trends and novel research in this space.
Building strong relationships with key business stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges and inform the data science solutions roadmap.
Establish high data integrity standards and SLAs to ensure timely, accurate delivery of data
Build insightful and reliable dashboards to track performance of core metrics that will deliver insights to the whole company
What We Look For
Proven experience building Machine Learning projects in a Cloud-based data platforms (AWS, MS Azure or GCP).
Extensive experience (6+ years) with Python and/or SQL.
Proven expertise and experience of Shallow ML frameworks – regression, classification, clustering; time series forecasting (prophet, ARIMA, SARIMA); dimensionality reduction approaches.
Exposure to MLOps concepts.
Knowledge of wider data warehousing, data architecture of data modelling concepts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrable experience of critical thinking, problem-solving ability, and stakeholder management.
Demonstrate delivery under pressure and to deadline.
